We have a long-standing relationship with the University of Queensland, and we were recently tasked to manufacture and weld new bins for their campus in St Lucia.
Each piece of the bin was individually made, then welded together. For this job, we used galvanised steel, which is ideal for outdoor use due to its rust resistance, and we then powder coated the bins blue. The bins will be used for drink containers.
One of the bins are located by the entrance of the Great Court.
The other bin is located by the UQ Union Building and the Food Court.
