We recently manufactured an Eagle Nest that was designed to house a real Eagle! It is the first of its kind in Australia, so we have documented it step-by-step. Check out the photos down below.
Firstly, the frames needed to be bent so they can be fitted around the circumference around the nest. This is to create a structure for the nest and to keep the twigs and sticks in place.
The baseplates, legs and the frames were slotted into place and then welded onto the main pipe. This part needed to be done with precision and had to be 100% accurate otherwise the arms would be imbalanced causing the structure of the nest to lean on one side.
The arms were held into place to restrict movement during the welding process.
This is the finished product after all the welding and before the powder coating.
The finished Eagles Nest has been installed and is ready for the Eagle to be housed.
